About the author

Hi, I’m Carole. I grew up in northern England, where I first glimpsed the wide expanse of the ocean, from the top of a high cliff, during a walk with my Dad. It brought home to me that there was a big world out there, waiting to be explored. A school trip to Spain gave me the bug. I’ve been travelling ever since, and now live in New Zealand.
